    Craig Ranch is a master planned community conveniently located in the heart of McKinney just minutes from shopping, restaurants, entertainment venues and highway 121. Craig Ranch North is one of the many subdivisions located within Craig Ranch, and offers an abundance of amenities. Some of these amenities include two resort style pools, splash pads, green spaces, walking trails, parks and many community events throughout the year. .

    There are many home styles and sizes to choose from. There are both pre-owned and new construction homes. New homes are being built by Megatel. These beautiful homes range in square footage from 2600 - over 3500, and are loaded with upgrades. All of this and a price point in the $400,000's. There are several showcase homes available for immediate move in.

    Today I visited the Craig Ranch North, Phase 12, Sales Center for Megatel Homes. I was impressed with the quality and the inventory of homes they are ready to move into. As of today, they had seven homes ready to move into and another two-three ready soon.

    A great location just off of Alma and Stacy in McKinney, with a McKinney address and Frisco ISD Schools for the kids. The amenities of living in Craig Ranch is tough to beat, and the overall "quality" of the neighborhood is very desirable.

    The Megatel Homes have a "larger than average" backyard, and boast $47,000 of upgrades built into each home in this subdivision. They are certainly worth looking into if this is in your price range, I don't think you would be disappointed.

    Craig Ranch North is the first neighborhood developed in this master planned community. With a community center and 2 pools, Craig Ranch North (homes built north of Stacy Road) is a great place for many fun activities. Along with the pools, my clients are drawn to this area because of the walking and biking trails as well as over 400 acres of green space.

    Craig Ranch North boasts proximity to the McKinney soccer fields, the "ball fields" (very popular with tournaments), a hockey facility, and the TPC Craig Ranch Golf Course. Another big draw that brings people to Craig Ranch are the schools. Even though the community is located in McKinney the schools feed into award winning Frisco ISD (with the exception of newly built subdivision, Spicewood at Craig Ranch).

    The neighborhood has a cozy feel, the streets are a little smaller and windier than some of the other neighborhoods you may look at. Also many of the streets have alleyways in the back of the home instead of street facing garages. Homes in Craig Ranch North were predominately built between 2002-2008 however there are still some pockets of new homes being built. Prices range between 1,400-3,800 square feet and $200-440K.
