    Being in Real Estate is fun for many reasons, but my favorite would be discovering areas of a small town that I live around, that I never knew was there. Lavon, Nevada, and Farmersville are all cities that share Lake Lavon for fishing, boating and camping.

    Lakeland Park lines the lake embankment and is great for an afternoon picnic with the family.
    Take a weekend drive in the country and leave the worries in the city until Monday. Elm Creek Park is right of off 551 which runs directly into the lake if you don't slow down. There are no picnic tables at the park. It's just a boat ramp pretty much, but you can still have a picnic.

    If you think of Farmersville, you think of cows and crops galore. You are so right! But you will also find fun stuff to do and downtown country charm that has been lost with many towns and cities.

    The land space is incredible and this is where you can find a lot to build on or an existing home. You can get an acre, a few acres, 33 acres up to 110+ acres of land. There are some new homes being built as well as fixer-uppers. It is nice to see this little town that should not be forgotten.

    Farmersville is a country community with a historic charm about it. Downtown Farmersville hosts a monthly flea market with produce, food, plants, crafts, collectibles and jewelry each month. Walking the bricked paved streets of downtown area you will find many shops, antiques and restaurants.

    If you are considering a move to Farmersville your housing choices are varied. You can choose a brand new construction home, a historic home near downtown or an established pre-owned home. Most homes are on acreage in the Farmersville area with quick access to Greenville or the McKinney area. Lake Lavon borders some of Farmersville and home choices can be north or south of Highway 380.
