Dove Tail Drive is the closest street coming off of Silverado Trail. It has beautiful homes ranging from 3 bedroom up to 5 bedrooms. The beauty of living on Dovetail Drive is that if your children are of elementary school age, it's just a short distance across Silverado, with crossing guards, to their school.

In February of 2017, McKinney will open the Apex Center which is a new facility for swimming, working out, indoor track, and so much more! Harvest Bend is only about a mile away going down Alma towards Eldorado. This will be the summer spot for kids and families that live nearby.

The HOA at Harvest Bend Fishing Pond does have some rules:
    1. Barbless hooks only.
    2. No live bait besides insects and worms.
    3. Catch and release only

However, that doesn't mean you won't catch fish! See my photo above of a whopper of a Bass that my son recently caught! He tells me there are bigger ones in there.

Harvest Bend is a nice smaller subdivision near the intersection of Alma and Stacey Roads in McKinney. The home addresses are in McKinney, but the kids attend the Frisco ISD District. The Harvest Bend neighborhood is sandwiched right between the Comstock Elementary School and the Scoggins Middle School which makes for nice short commutes.

Harvest Bend also has relatively low HOA dues, and residents enjoy a nice park and a fishing pond. There are also new HOA-sponsored events each year. Many of the owners are families that have kids of school age, so there are many friends to be made.
